02 02 3 v 2 5 M ar 1 99 8 CLNS 98 / 1541 CLEO 98 - 2 First Observation of the Cabibbo Suppressed Decay B + → D̄

چکیده
We have observed the decay B+ → D̄0K+, using 3.3 million BB̄ pairs collected with the CLEO II detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring. We find the ratio of branching fractions R ≡ B(B+ → D̄0K+)/B(B+ → D̄0π+) = 0.055 ± 0.014 ± 0.005.
